How the Smart Parking System Works
When a vehicle approaches the parking entrance, the ANPR camera captures the vehicle registration number while the RFID reader identifies registered users. The parking management software verifies vehicle credentials and determines parking eligibility. For authorized vehicles, the boom barrier automatically opens. Visitors may receive a QR code or parking ticket depending upon the configured workflow. The parking guidance system identifies available parking spaces and guides drivers through LED displays and directional indicators. Throughout the parking duration, occupancy sensors continuously monitor space utilization and communicate real-time information to the central server. At the exit, parking duration is calculated automatically and payment can be completed using RFID wallets, FASTag, UPI, credit cards, debit cards or online payment gateways before the barrier opens.
